Camping in style

Today is the national day and hence holiday in Belgium and it was also the day the parents could amuse themselves driving a couple of hundred kms to visit the guide camp. This is a picture of my eldest daughter's patrol's tent - sitting on the wooden structure they built themselves and on which they camp for two weeks.

It was nice to hear from the guide leaders that my eldest had been the most inventive patrol leader and had built a whole staircase up to the tent.

The girls were all away for 48 hours hiking through the countryside so we visited with the guide leaders who remain in the camp and go out every so often to check if the girls are not getting totally lost :-)
