Noodles and questioning normal
I had a very Asian evening. Started at 'office 3' which is a Thai style bar. It's grab a beer from the fridge, sit under a hut style roof made from leaves and try not to get eaten by too many mosquitos.
Japanese food followed along with a power cut. I sat there (slowly melting in 40C), in the dark, eating noodles and sushi with no Western cutlery, having ordered everything in Thai and realised that it was all normal. The ridiculous pavements and electricity cables, bowing to say thanks, picking ants out of cereal, the crazy driving and odd food have settled as just part of my every day life. I'm not sure how to process that, when my return to what 'should' be my normal is now fast approaching.
New food : whatever on earth those spirally things were (pictured), fishy, odd, kind of nice... I think.
