French knitting!!

Last night a weird thing happened: as I was preparing something to eat all the lights went out and there was an almighty clap of thunder!  The lights immediately came back on!!  Quite frightening!

Then this morning I woke to a winter wonderland all white and snowy!

Friday group and it seemed peculiar but rather peaceful not to have any of the children!!  It was at my walking friend's house and She kindly posed for me to take her with her immense ball of French knitting!  She has not decided what to do with it yet and just carries on making her ball bigger!!  Apparently it's very therapeutic!!
