San Francisco

Ro and i took the ferry from Alameda to SF. It's a lovely ride, under the Bay Bridge. You can see the new building being built on the skyline. The Salesforce tower will not only dwarf the other buildings in SF but be the tallest in the USA ..... until the next one!

We landed at Pier 39 and went to see the sea Lions! An amazing bunch barking away merrily! Love watching them. We wanted to get some Canadian biscuits for our other daughter so went to the world market and then headed through china town and on through the tunnel to go back to our favourite diner: Loris! I had my usual Bay shrimp salad and Ro his ham and cheese omelette with hash browns! This time we had a milk shake each as it was so hot, especially with all that walking! Then on to the Embarcadero to. At home the ferry back!

This evening we all went to a very good pizza place! An excellent day!
