Spring woodland

I went looking for the green-winged orchids today, but they are a bit slow this year and there were only one or two in bloom. I was very pleased my knee behaved, and I was able to get down on the ground and up again without too much trouble, something I was completely unable to do a month or two ago.
On the way home I stopped by the road to photograph this piece of springtime woodland, I loved the vertical trunks against the pale green leaves. 
Maybe a little trip out tomorrow.......
