At days end.
After a well deserved lie in it wasn't actually a surprise to wake to an inch of snow on the car and the hill tops turned white as it was really cold when I got back late last night. Sadly I couldn't get out to play - but fortunately I'd several events through the day to look forward to.
After a check up for Pushka at the vets I had coffee with the always entertaining FennerPearson at a new little place in Kendal, and then a trip up to Penrith to meet a potential new employer for Scafell walks. From there I visited Carlisle to look at more vans ( plan is starting to take shape), before making it home in time for a lovely meal out with Aunt, Uncle, Brother and Sister-in-law.
Upon leaving the pub the sky was alight with colour, but armed only with the phone this was the best I could do. It's grainy, but I liked it best.
Philosophy Friday this week comes from the greatest of all modern philosophical duos;
"It's a wonderful world, you just have to look"
Calvin and Hobbes.
