my best friend joined me in california today.
it was the longest we had been apart in four years.

put the top on the car down.
hit the drag show.
made lots of new friends.
left arm in arm, tears running down our faces from laughing so had.

I got to talk to her face to face about some things that have been bothering/upsetting me lately.
and once again I'm reminded: there is no problem in the world that can't be eased with the comfort of a good friend.
