Close of one chapter, start of another.

Today is the last day J and S will ever go to school together. They have loved waiting for the bus making up games. J is off to an all boys school in September for secondary.

It was a lovely final day. Presents for teachers, assmebly in the gun pit (amphitheatre made from a World War 2 German gun emplacement), the picnic and fun on the beach with the rest of the school. Thankfully J can't wait to start his new school so it made leaving less traumatic.

To top it all we had fish and chips for tea from the chip shop and the sun shone!
