The Shine on the Passing Moment
"There was a fair list of the things in which I no longer believed . . . celebrity being the first. I no longer believed in fairy tales. I only believed in the shine on the passing moment – and in dedicating my life to the expression of Art, in whatever form that might take."
— p359, 'an odd boy - volume three', Doc Togden
Weithiau, dych chi'n gweld rhywbeth mewn chwinciad, ac yno mae e. Jyst yn gweld sinc y gegin yn golau'r bore ac ro'n i'n meddwl am fyrhoedledd y moment a'r posibilrwydd gwerthfawrogiad trwy'r amser. Dw i'n meddwl ei fod e'n effaith Blipfoto (a myfyrdod hefyd) eich bod chi'n barod i weld unrhywbeth fel llun yn werth gwerthfawrogi.
Yn y noswaith, aethon ni allan i weld y bale 'Sleeping Beauty' gan Matthew Bourne yn y Ganolfan Mileniwm Cymru. Roedd e'n gynhyrchiad hyfryd - roedd y gwisgoedd ac y dawnsio yn ysblennydd.
Sometimes you see something in an instant, and there it is. Just seeing the kitchen sink in the morning light and I thought of the transience of the moment and the potential for appreciation all the time. I think it's an effect of Blipfoto (and meditation too) that you ready to see anything as a picture worth appreciating.
In the evening, we went out to see the ballet 'Sleeping Beauty' by Matthew Bourne at the Wales Millennium Centre. It was a beautiful production - the costumes and the dancing were spectacular.
