Meeting a man from the motor trade
Penderfynon ni brynu car newydd felly treulion ni awr yn glanhau'r hen gar cyn mynd i lawr i Ffordd Penarth i edrych ar geir ar werth. Ro'n ni wedi cael syniad am fath o gar - petrol, hatchback ayyb, ond ro'n ni'n meddwl byddai fe cymryd y dydd i ffeindio'r un gywir. Siaradais i â gwerthwr yn y lle gyntaf a ffeindiodd e gar amdanon ni. Edrychodd e digon dda, felly prynon ni'r car ar unwaith. Roedd e'n dda i wneud penderfyniad yn gyflym. Allwn ni ddim yn gweld rheswm i edrych yn bell felly roedd llawer o amser gyda ni i 'mooch' yn yr Orsaf Pwmpio lle maen nhw'n gwerthu llawer o hen bethau a nick nacks. Dyn ni'n mynd i gasglu'r car newydd ddydd Mercher.
We decided to buy a new car so we spent an hour cleaning the old car before going down to Penarth Road to look at cars for sale. We had an idea about the kind of car - petrol, hatchback, etc., but we thought that it would take a day to find the right one. We spoke to a salesman in the first place and he found it a car for us. It looked good enough, so we bought the car at once. It was good to make a decision quickly. We could not see a reason to look further so we had a lot of time to 'mooch' in the Pumping Station where they sell lots of antiques and nick nacks.. We're going to pick up the new car on Wednesday.
