Frustration

Not a spot that looks like it could cause frustration and indeed the location was fine. It was the White-billed Diver - or sadly not - that caused the frustration.
In the last week and a half I have spent about six hours on this pier looking forlornly out to sea in the hope of seeing the aforementioned White-billed Diver that keeps on being reported here. It almost makes it worse that every time I have spent time here, in the evening on the internet up pops "White-billed Diver present again off Eliogarry pier"
Every little dot in the distance has been assiduously scanned with no joy.
Part of the problem is in the name - divers do spend a lot of time diving and if the sea is not flat calm, they can appear, or not as is the case, in a trough  of a wave and disappear again before they even come visible.
One more day perhaps. Grrr......
