Welcome to Yorkshire!

What a beautiful weather day for day 2 of Tour de Yorkshire...we will ignore the one torrential downpour of hail! :-P

Dad and I enjoyed a fantastic ride out from Otley through Ilkley, past Bolton Abbey and on to Burnsall...then back to Otley via Appletreewick, Bolton Abbey and Ilkley. Gorgeous roads and a real treat. Randomly recognised in Burnsall by Lucc, a blipper of old!! We returned to see the start of the tour in the centre of Otley. We managed to see the team sign on which was fab! We also got a good view of the riders doing a loop around Otley town centre. 

After the race had left Otley, we met Wendle56, and her husband, briefly!! It was lovely to meet her...funny how you can meet somebody for the first time and feel like you already know them!! Fantastically successful blipmeet! :-D
