Wild Cherry (Prunus Avium)

We desperately need, and are having, an at home weekend. We have an awful lot of catching up to do - good progress made today.

The weather cleared this afternoon, so I took a short break and headed over to Risley Moss. Chiff Chaffs were calling, cowslips and blue bells were in flower, and a few people were around walking their dogs.

And in lots of places, at the Moss and thereabouts, the Wild Cherries (or Geans) were in flower. I love early spring - when it isn't snowing, hailing, blowing a gail, or is generally overcast and grey. Which is much of the time recently, so here's hoping for some improvement.
