Sandy Voe

It's been a lovely day, packed full of sunshine.  There's still been a nip in the air when in the wind.

The morning was spent getting on with my chores, two loads of washing out and dried and cleaning too.  After my chores, it was time to get out in the sunshine and walkies with Sammy.  Popped along friends and then off to launch the peerie rubber boat for the summer coming.  We headed out for a run to Oxna with the boat, and a walk around the isle.  Takeaway curry for tea tonight, mam popped over and headed out for a walk with Sammy.  Quiet night in tonight?

We landed on Oxna and were welcomed by Wilbert Fullerton.  He's staying on the isle with wife Christine, for the lambing season.  They invited us in for a cuppa, and their family was over visiting too.  We enjoyed a fine walk over the isle, before heading home again.  This is looking over Sandy Voe and towards the Oxna house and ruins.
