King at Stirling Castle

A cloudy day, and cold wind.  It did warm a little when the sun was out in the afternoon but a cold night.

Up early, A d said goodbye to Brain and Madeline, they're heading home to Shetland today.  We headed South for Blackford, and went to visit Brian's cousin Celia McKechnie and family.  After a cuppa and yarn, we headed into Stirling for shopping, lunch with her daughter Jackie and husband Paul Elliot at Portcullis.  After lunch the castle, then back to Celia's and then up the road.  We nearly hit two deer on the road too!  Cold night, but the fire is roaring!

A great tour about Stirling Castle, and we got in free, Celia's sister in law works there.  She gave us a tour about the castle, also extras from Paul too.  Here's me on the left in the King's chair, and peerie Brian in the Queen's :)  I'm trying to look mean and king like :)
