False garlic
Nothoscordum bivalve. I am not sure where the bivalve comes from. It is part of the lily family and if anything, things are in threes. This grows wild and gets into the garden where it looks alright among anything else that happens to be flowering. It will die back, the leaves go yellow and won't be seen again till next spring. It grows from a tiny bulb which is almost impossible to eradicate. If you try, you end up with spreading it further. So I let it be and work round it!
A wet start that has ended in a nice sunny late afternoon. I think R is satisfied with her photographs. We'll see how far they get with this. It seems a lot of work. But I did it myself about 20 years ago, when I was more energetic!
