Dame's rocket

This grows everywhere at this time of the year. It is an escaped ornamental that was used a lot by the early settlers. It belongs to the same family as the mustards and all the cabbages and other Cole crops. Hesperis matronalis is its proper name.

We now have a very stable bird feeder! I banged a T post in this morning and wired the pole of the feeder to it. It ain't going anywhere now.!
