The Numbers up!

Bizarre to set the alarm for a Saturday, last time I did that was 2 weeks ago and then I was Majorca bound! Still, needed to set it today as loads on at 49.

Marco arrived to finish off the doors, fitting the handles and the last of the skirting boards. Matt arrived to build more new furniture, and li arrived too with breakfast. Mum arrived to unpack some boxes into her new home, and some random things there were too!

Lunch was from the chippy and we enjoyed it in the sunshine, at last!

More jobs completed in the afternoon, ticking things off my list.

Marco finished all his jobs and then put the house number and hanging basket bracket up. Felt quite emotional after that was done.
Maybe cos it's all coming good now and 10 months hard work is coming to a close. Maybe it's also that on a similar Saturday morning this time 4 years ago, my wonderful dad passed away. Wished he could see what 49 is like, he'd have loved it.

Home and nice to sit outside for a while enjoying a relatively warm July evening.
