Trip down memory lane

This was bittersweet as our own bus broke down on the motorway en route to Manchester today!
St Ann's Square played host to this display today, apparently recreating the artists happy memories of childhood visiting the seaside. The mound of sand in the centre of the photo was hiding a body (I assume this was the artist?), and the children had great fun covering her with sand until only her head was visible!
