Chamundi Hills

Savouring the Indian breakfast early morning outside in the garden. Chamundi hills first with beautiful views accross Mysore. It was fairly packed with local famillies on their Sunday trips wearing their best colourful clothes (extra). My colleague SM is on both pictures - spot him?

On the way back, first a quick stop at St. Philomena's church and then two more places with temples for powerful gods.

South Indian vegetarian lunch (eaten by hands with some help and instructions by the driver) was delicious.

Early return to Bangalore. Relaxing at the pool and watching the cricket players we will see tomorrow evening in action at the stadium next to us.

KSK joins us for dinner tonight. Business starts tomorrow.

Chamundi Hills is close to the palace city of Mysore. Its average elevation is 1,000 meters. A panoramic view of the city is seen from the top of the hills, including views of the Lalitha Mahal palace, Mysore Palace, Karanji and Kukkarahalli lakes. At dusk, the view of the city is especially beautiful, and on Sunday evenings and during the Dasara festival, the illuminated Mysore Palace glitters.
