Gathered and Suspended

It was hard to photograph this installation called " Gathering," but it was a marvelous bunch of twigs suspended by wire and fishing line between a post and a tree on the Cascade campus of Portland Community College. Karen Devers made it for her class in experimental media. I helped her take it down and now she is going to add to it and is looking for a tree to wrap it around. Anyone have a good tree? I hoped a finch would find it and settle in with a nest, but that never happened.
