Happy retirement

Today ( the start of the new month) marks the formal retirement point for my wife. She's retiring earlier than originally planned but is looking forward to the absence of commutes and demands of work. Over the past few weeks she's had more retirement outings than Frank Sinatra: all have apparently been great fun.

We went out today for an enjoyable lunch in Leith with a couple - Kenneth and Joyce who were up in Edinburgh for a few days - see extra. Kenneth and I were at school together (from P1) but he retired over a decade ago. Where did I go awry?
