the harry potter viaduct

We left the hotel (sadly!) and went for a walk up to the viewing point behind the Glenfinnan Viaduct.  In the summer months, there's a steam train that runs twice a day and you can get the ubiquitous photo of the train on the viaduct :)  It's the one that features in Harry Potter; on our walk up we met some HP fans who wanted their photo taken and when we went to take it, they were acting as if they were casting spells and shouting "expelliarmus" etc.  Very funny :)

Drove back home to Edinburgh via Glencoe and Crianlarich, and was stunned by how gorgeous the wee country is the whole way home.  Absolutely breathtaking scenery.
