The Garleek rides again.

As I often do, I left it "Liggin aboot" for a day or three on the moist pebble tray beneath the Streptocarpus. I had a feeling the sprout would continue to extend.
What I didn't expect having, or so I thought, removed the basal plate, was root growth.
This merits a stay of execution and may well result in a planting  - 
just 2 C what happens.
