How to convert a tree into a telegraph pole

This was taking place in a garden on the opposite of the road to where we live. P & T lived in the house before their separation & at vast expense P had built a tree house in this tree though it never really got used. 

The tree had outgrown the garden some while ago & so today it came down ....well most of it....

Between shots I have treated the shed with preservative. The back has been done twice & the ends once. The front ( & the ends again) will get done tomorrow weather permitting.

Sunny intervals though it is dark & overcast now but much warmer.

The extra is when the tree feller realised I was taking a few shots & so gave me a pose....
