Rockerfeller and the rain...

A fun, is somewhat soggy day. After a breakfast of the best GF pancakes ever, we spent most of it in the Village, East and West, and then a fabulous dinner with friends who live here in NYC in the Lower East Side. The restaurant had its own gorgeous "secret speakeasy" bar upstairs - all very cloak and dagger and very cool indeed, serving extra potent cocktails! Hurrah for knowing some locals - we would never have found it in a million years!

It's taken a day or so, but I'm retuned in to the frequency of the city. There really is nowhere else quite like it.
