Hosta time again

I have spent quite a bit of time in my " Outdoor Gym" today.
Making the most of this glorious weather. 18c in our garden and no cool wind for once.
Had a good workout, cutting back a pine tree ( quite a small one actually)
Moving pots, and painting the garden table and chairs. As well as tying back a climbing rose, and dead heading the daffodils. Oh and watering the pots too.
Did have a sit down with a cup of tea. Had my hat on of course.
This hosta, in a large pot by the gate, is always the first to flower, and is growing so fast at the moment you can almost see the leaves moving upwards.

Off to walk with our walking club tomorrow.
Starting and ending in Kildwick. Gradual ascent up hill to start, ( I've heard that one before!)  and then back along the canal. 7 miles.
Looking forward to walking in some fine  warm weather for a change!
