Doris Longwing

It's another gloomy day (the weather forecaster mentioned that it's the ninth consecutive day with rain predicted) so I headed over to the Brookside Gardens Butterfly Exhibit.  I believe this is a Doris Longwing.  On the home front, it was an exciting morning.  I spotted a Rose-breasted Grosbeak on the feeder, and the wrens have finally taken up residence in the birdhouse.  According to the Wild Bird store owner, the Grosbeaks only stay in town for a week before taking off for the north. I hope he at least spends it in my yard.
