All things bright and beautiful

I had the afternoon off today and Mr A was off too, so we decided to have a drive out to our favourite garden centre for lunch.

Sadly, when we got there, we found that the owners have retired (to a vineyard in Tenerife) and it's in the process of being renovated ready for reopening in June.

Fortunately, there's another place down the road so we knew we had a decent plan b!

It was tempting to sit outside as it was such a lovely day, but there was a chilly wind so we wimped out and sat indoors.

Food was great and we had a little mooch around the garden centre afterwards.

I liked this display of pansies; so bright and cheery :-)

Following on from yesterday's mouse blip, I was stunned to see on my Timehop app this morning that we had a field mouse in the chimney pot on this day last year!!!!
