Escapees

We were meant to be doing another walk today, meeting BAT at the top of Vaughan's Pass - thick wet fog scuppered that idea and we decided to abandon walking across the mountain in favour of a cup of tea at her place. The weather was appalling but she has the most fantastic spot - what we could see of it! Two and a half acres complete with pigs, turkeys, geese, hens,a dog and a cat, polytunnel, loads of veg beds and secret gardens.
She gave us strict instructions on how to find our way home and it involved very small roads, fog and this bunch of confused sheep - they had escaped from their field and were now wishing they hadn't.
