Being a lollipop lady has got me used to early mornings..  This morning was super early because I had to let the Presiding Officer into the Salvation Army hall at 6.30 am as we are a polling station.  She'd brought a book as she didn't think it was going to be a busy day.  I have to add (virtuously) that I did vote for a Police Commissioner later on at my own polling station.
