Nature

Today we ditched school (I love being able to do that) and met up with some friends for a nature walk. The children built this 'house' (complete with a welcome sign drawn with charcoal) and pretended to be living in the ancient Roman times. It's a lovely place under the pine trees with some shade. It's surreal being somewhere peaceful like that and then big black army helicopters go overhead and you remember that there's a war going on down the road.
