Ridges..

..got my tatties in at last. Nice well chitted tubers, good strong stubby green shoots, non of these mile long watery ones! And ridged up..

Then moved some stone to form a veranda at the bottom of the new tunnel. Did four or five box loads with the tractor, and will need another ten or so to complete the job.. Jobs for the weekend?..

Worked the patch for the tatties with my push hoe. It does quite a nice job levelling and consolidating the rotorvated ground. Also did another patch ready for planting my onion sets. These were planted in pots a month ago, and are ready for planting out as nicely formed young plants.

Forecast for the weekend is good, so may sow some seeds too, salads, beetroot, chard, and the like..

Oh, and did a harvest too.
