White tailed sea eagle..

Busy today, raked over a plot for the onion and shallot plants, the ones that have been growing in pots for a month or so, and planted them. Managed to rake off a good load of stones. I know I'll have a similar number next year, but it allows me to use my wheeled push hoe to control weeds. And there will be a few less stones next year!

Raked another patch ans planted out 7-8 trays of brassicas too. This resulted in another heap of stones. A good effort though..

Slightly disappointed that we didn't manage a majority Scottish government yesterday, but still got a good result..

Oh, and the Eagle?
Having got back up to the house, put the tractor away, and empty pots, and tools, I took a breather and sat on the wall on the edge of the border. Throwing a ball for Tanni, and enjoying the view over the village. There was a sudden "whoosh", and said eagle flew directly over my head from behind at around 20 feet up. I saw two huge wings and a triangle of white on the rump. I flew directly away from me to A's shed on the other side of the village, before veering left and following the line of the hill..

Impressive? Just a little!!.. (and of course, I didn't have my camera to hand!).. Ho hum..
