Early morning walk

Merlin and I are in training! We have signed up to do an 8K walk as part of the Great British Dog Walk in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People on 22nd May. 8K (5 miles) is hardly a marathon but it is twice as far as I regularly amble with the dogs  so I need to get used to walking further and quicker. Today we left the house at 7.10am - a lovely sunny morning - we walked along the drove beside the dyke - Merlin went in it, of course - then back through the village - stopping  to get warm croissants for breakfast. Back home at 8.25 having walked 3 miles.  Not the end of exercise for the day, though, as the other three had stayed home; so we went to the leisure centre to play ball later in the afternoon.
Looking forward to meeting some Blippers on Saturday when we have a Blipmeet at Ely - all welcome - 10am at Ship Lane car park.
