Leaded lights

The view from the King's Room this morning. A lovely sunny day and lots of visitors (despite only 2 visible in this pic) The tower is actually the visitor entrance/exit from the car park.
The 'extra' shows the wider view - you can see part of the parterre which is a feature of the garden on that side of the house - best seen from the roof, but I haven't ventured up there yet (may do when the flowers are planted and in bloom in the parterre). I notice on the wide view the window is a bit dirty - quite how they are cleaned I don't know as the tower rises sheer up from the moat! (perhaps they abseil down from the roof)
