Over the farm

It feels a bit like early summer here today.  Conditions were perfect for being outside, with not a cloud in the sky, and a lovely warm 22 degrees.

We went down to the walnut trees this afternoon, and picked up a big full of nuts.  Farmerboy picked up most, although I did help.....even if it was only a few!

Further down the farm from the walnut tree is one of our paddocks of Oats.  I've taken today's photo of them - they are a fantastic crop, and by the time this crop is fed out in July, they will have grown alot more than what they were today, especially if we keep having the warm temperatures that we have been having.  It's very unseasonal to be having this weather.  By now we would have had the odd frost or two.  So far we've had none - not that I'm complaining.  But I do wonder when it will start to get cold.  That's global warming for you.
