Wharfe-for art thou, Stoneo?

I really wanted to cross these stepping stones over the Wharfe under Bolton Abbey, but the gap between the first and the next was too wide so I was too scared to try.

The cream scones in the tearoom at the top were awful. The scones clearly shop bought (they had that hexagonal look), the jam sour (and blackcurrant if you please!) and the clotted cream tasteless. Will tonight's roast beef dinner in a pub claiming to have the title of "Best Sunday Roast in Skipton" prove to be the high point of the day? For we sure as hell need something to go right this weekend!
