Sapsucker Woods #4

The hit of the day was a barred owl, yes, a real owl hanging out in a tree in daylight. We were thrilled to find this , even though a couple  of ladies told us they saw it and about where it was. We had expected it to be gone. After the yellow warblers and towhee, this was a really great finish to the walk .The extra is the owl looking a little sleepy and the iconic sapsucker. The sapsucker will be deleted if I managed to pick the one photo that was blurry!
