Glorious day

Coffee in the garden very early listening to Cuckoo. Then did a walk through the woods for three hours, cut short because I forgot more coffee! Everything was nesting, singing or feeding. There were lots of roe deer, nervous at this time of year.
This Mistletoe Thrush baby had been cleverly concealed by its parent, which arrived every few minutes to feed it. Plenty of Blackbird fledglings too. The Tree Creeper in the extra seemed to have an itch and kept scratching between feeding sessions, moving trees and chasing another. Lucky to get this one.
It was hot and sunny all day, temperatures in the 20s!!! 15 degrees warmer than last week!
