. . . to the train. This little lass will go far. Thank you all so much for the grand messages yesterday. After the low of L’s accident on Tuesday yesterday was a high to finish the week on.
So one football match is worth £200 million to the winners  . . . never . . . so I will leave it to a national newspaper report to say it for me . . .
. . . But it is what promotion means to this proud, but deprived region, that makes it special. Mocked in television documentaries about the unemployed, hammered by Government cuts and cruelly ignored when the Redcar Steelworks closed last year, with the loss of thousands of precious jobs,  . . . forget the boost to the local economy, this is about restoring pride and prestige for a town and an area . . .  Amen to that !
