Messing About on the River

This afternoon, by the Thames at Kingston.  These lucky people were breezing along the river, enjoying the cool wind of passage. 

I was en route to Grand-daughter no three's third birthday party in the pavilion at Canbury Gardens. Twelve  three year-olds, twelve siblings of the aforementioned, assorted parents ditto. Both sets of grandparents, one very elderly springer spaniel. Temperatures in the high 70s. And a guest appearance by Peppa Pig.  

It was chaos, fun, totally exhausting, especially for Peppa, who was wearing two layers of fleece and a pig's head made of plastic foam. And he (it was a he) had to dance!
