Ooops

Stu and I headed to the house this morning as we had loads of clearing up to do before the windows are fitted tomorrow. I cleaned up the lath and plaster from the ceiling in the lounge, while Stu did the last bit of sanding around the windows.  It was hard work as it has been roasting today but Gem popped round with ice lollys to cool us down.
We had a tidy up and burnt most of the laths.  It was at this point things started going wrong. Dad popped in to see how we were getting on and he and Stu decided to try and cut away a section of wall. I didn't want to get hurt by sparks so went in the garden to put more wood on the fire. Whilst doing this I trod on a piece of wood with a massive nail in it. It went straight through the bottom of my trainer and quite deep into my foot. I managed to pull it out and Dad took me straight home to inspect the damage. I'm OK but it bloody hurts.
When I left Stu attempted to remove the door frames and managed to accidentally pull down a section of wall (not one that we needed down). 
Not the best day really.
