Posh windows!

Today has been chaos. I was at the house for 8 to let the window fitters in.  All the builders were there too so I made everyone a cuppa and then headed into Wollaston to pick up my antibiotics and get a few things from the hardware store.  I got back to the house but was in the way so decided to go home for a few hours. The kettle had just boiled when my phone rang as the plumber had turned up an hour early so back to the house it was. The plumber seemed very nice and said he would get a quote to me within a few days (we have also had a quote today from a plumber who came out saturday). Another round of tea for the workers then back home to do some washing and make a spag boll for dinner. I had an appointment at the doctors at 4.30 for my tetanus so stopped by the house on the way as I had to sign some paperwork. The scaffolding was down and the windows looked fab. One piece of glass didn't fit so they will need to come back and there is a bit off finishing off still left to be done tomorrow. 
I went to the doctors, popped back to the house to lock up, got home and then popped to the house again with Stu when he got back from work so he could see the windows.  We are both very pleased with them and glad we paid the extra.  Other goood news Steve has said they will cut out the new doors and brick up the old ones - one less job for us!
