Gilcrease Museum - Tulsa, OK

On Saturday, we went to the Gilcrease Museum for art and artifacts. The Gilcrease has the largest collection of Native American regalia, weapons, moccasins, horse saddles, blankets and decorations, parfleches and artifacts in the world. A treasure trove for me and I spent the entire day there....digging through hundreds of drawers with thousands of items for my research on the Plains Culture. The EXTRA photos show a drawer-full of moccasins and another sculpture...the one that's on their state license plate. Their art collection is superb, as well.
Lugged home another pile of books. The truck is getting crowded....some of those clothes will have to go....
