Lovely Linda

This is my friend, Linda, competing in todays Iron Man UK triathlon.

After having the usual Sunday morning...newspapers read; garden mowed...I walked to Horwich with Jed and Rowan in the hope of spotting Linda and giving her a big cheer. We waited around for almost two hours with no sign of Linda. It was still fun to clap on other participants who had retained their sense of humour even after a 2.4 mile outdoor swim, a 112 mile bike ride and then to complete a marathon. (We were viewing just after the atheletes had left their bikes and begun the marathon). I thought I must've missed Linda so we began to walk home....I was still looking out for her and, just before we were about to leave the runner's route, she appeared in a tutu! She'll still be running now....OMG! I know she'll do it because she completed it last year too.

Well done, Linda, you are amazing!!! I think the signage in the background is quite appropriate too..ha..ha...
