Yellow-headed Blackbird

I drove to a lake east of town to look for pelicans.  I saw a few in the air but too far away.  As I was driving around the lake I spotted a tree full of birds (see extra) so I stopped to see what they were and I was very happy to see Yellow-headed Blackbirds.  I haven't seen one in years and today I saw a whole flock!  The extra only shows a small part of it.  When I got out of the car I saw that they were also in four other trees in the immediate area.  I wish this shot was sharper but I couldn't catch one in good light that wasn't obstructed by limbs.  Now that I know where they are I will go back on a sunnier day and get a better shot.  :-)
