Thirst Quencher...

The warmest day of the year so far (for us) and I decided to make venison stew - a great winter warmer  -  in the slow cooker.  

Honestly, what a numpty, but the upside is dinner will be ready for David coming home (first time in a long time.  He's been coming in and and having to make dinner most nights over the last couple of weeks) then we can relax and enjoy what's left of the lovely evening.  Might even be able to eat outside.  Woo hoo :-))

Alan's been out this afternoon with Ed and has come back with his hair cut.  Thank heavens!  It was well overdue.  Apparently he enjoyed showing off his war wound to Heather the hairdresser.  He's getting a bit too proud of it for my liking.   Enjoying the fuss made of him no doubt.  That boy's not daft.

Hope the sun is shining on you, wherever you are.  Unless of course it's night time as that would just be odd.
