Russian Ribbon

9 May is celebrated in Russia as the last day of the Great Patriotc War in 1945.
My Blip today shows a black and orange bicolour ribbon, which is widely worn, around the wrist, or flown on your car...... in Russia, on 9 May

I was given this St. George's Ribbon, today, by my Russian student, who is studying hard for her A Levels and hoping to go to University next year.

I took it as a compliment that I was given the ribbon.......
Internationalism at its best......a Russian student, with an English teacher both living in Spain!
