Europe Day

9 May is Europe Day.....here in Europe!!......
It's an annual celebration of peace and unity in Europe.

We went along to the Casa de Cultura, in Alfaz.......
the Councillor for Foreigners said a few words, as did the Mayor.......
welcoming everyone, including the British....despite Brexit.

There was some rather splendid music.....followed by refreshments
....typical Spanish hospitality .......local wines and cheeses

I have to say.....when everyone was making us British feel so Welcome....it was rather "odd"......knowing that 'we' had said
"No Thank You"
